Two Additions/Three Deletions in S-Network Composite Closed-End Fund Index Quarterly Reconstitution

New York, NY, September 20, 2016 – The S-Network Composite Closed-End Fund Index (Ticker: CEFX) will add two constituents in its quarterly reconstitution, effective 4:00 PM (EST) Friday, September 30, 2016. Three stocks will be removed, changing the number of index components to 140.

The additions to CEFX are WESTERN ASSET INCOME FUND (TICKER: PAI US) and VOYA ASIA PACIFIC HIGH DIVID (TICKER: IAE US).

The deletions from CEFX are PIMCO STRATEGIC INCOME FUND (TICKER: RCS US), WESTERN ASSET MORTGAGE DEFIN (TICKER: DMO US), and Nuveen Global Equity Income Fund (TICKER: JGV US).

The changes to CEFX are distributed over three subindexes:

The S-Network Option Income Closed-End Fund Index (Ticker: CEFOIX) will add VOYA ASIA PACIFIC HIGH DIVID (TICKER: IAE US) and drop Nuveen Global Equity Income Fund (TICKER: JGV US), maintaining the number of index constituents at 35.

The S-Network Investment Grade Fixed Income Index (Ticker: CEFIGX) will add WESTERN ASSET INCOME FUND (TICKER: PAI US), and drop PIMCO STRATEGIC INCOME FUND (TICKER: RCS US) and WESTERN ASSET MORTGAGE DEFIN (TICKER: DMO US), changing the number of index constituents to 57.

The S-Network High-Yield Closed-End Fund Index (Ticker: CEFHYX) will not add or drop any constituents, maintaining the number of index constituents at 48.

The S-Network Composite Closed-End Fund Index is a fund index designed to serve as a benchmark for closed-end funds listed in the US that are principally engaged in asset management processes seeking to produce taxable annual yield. CEFX employs a modified net assets weighting methodology designed to assure accurate investment exposure across the various style segments that together comprise the taxable yield sector of the closed-end fund market.
